When sea salt is harvested, seawater is collected in big trays, and staged outdoors for the sun and wind to evaporate the water, leaving behind the salt. Seawater is packed with 84 natural minerals and contains trace amounts of iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, manganese, zinc, and iodine.

All you need to make your course salt table friendly is a good salt/pepper mill! Coarse Sea Salt is also excellent for creating your own rubs! If you prefer to put your salt in a shaker we also have Fine Sea Salt!
