Bourbon Barrel Burger Seasoning


Give your burgers a boost!

What came first, the ingredient or the recipe? In this case, and only this case, it was the ingredient!  When I first discovered bourbon barrel pepper I knew I had to make a burger seasoning out if it. I imagine this in a real cowboy burger that’s topped with onions, cheese, and BBQ sauce. Yum! But low and behold it is also amazing in meatballs and meatloaf! The flavor is smoky and peppery with a touch of onion and garlic. My sister often mixes this with oil and uses it to marinate steak.   Another interesting fact about this blend is the very first bottle was shipped to Rachael Ray. She graciously gave our loaded salt and pepper a shout out on her show and to show our thanks I whipped up the first batch of this and made sure she was the first to have it!
