I can’t be the only one who grew up driving past those famous Pedro signs of North and South Carolina. As soon as I had the opportunity to name a seasoning after one of my childhood favorites you know I had to!
I mean I never sausage a place where I’m always a wiener! (ha ha I couldn’t resist)
All joking aside, this is the perfect salt blend to use when you are looking for just a dash of heat from the familiar flavor of jalapeno. Less hot than the Habanero of Fire Salt but still enough kick to satisfy the need for some heat. This is my personal favorite for some spice on my taco salads and I always put it on my Cincinnati Chili!
Hand blended with sea salt, jalapeno powder, garlic, onion, pepper and Mexican oregano.
