Chili Lime Seasoning

Chili Lime was the flavor of the year in 2020! A versatile yet flavorful combo.

Just the right amount of salty heat with a hint of citrus! This is great on vegetables, sprinkled on salads, and as a finishing salt after cooking! This is also known as Tajin but that is a copyrighted name and I’m not about the infringement! But the concept is a classic Mexican seasoning that is timeless as tacos.

Hand blended from fine sea salt, Farmhand Chili Powder (ancho chile powder, New Mexico chile powder, onion, Chipotle chile powder, cumin, garlic, Mexican Oregano, and allspice), and organic lime juice powder.

2 small avocados or 1.5 Large avocados

2 TBSP minced red onion

2 TBSP lime juice or *cilantro lime sauce

½ TBSP Smoky Citrus Salt

½ TBSP Chili Lime Seasoning

1 TSP fresh minced garlic

Add diced tomato, diced jalapeno, add a Tsp or so of cilantro if not using the cilantro lime sauce. If you have the cilantro gene and it tastes like soap, then abort the cilantro mission!!!

Cilantro Lime Sauce

This was a staple at my café. It makes an amazing salad dressing for actual salad but also riced cauliflower dishes and I also use it to make a Cilantro Lime Slaw. It’s great on steak, chicken, and can also be used as a marinade! Only use if you LIKE cilantro. Some people have the cilantro gene which makes it taste like soap to them! So make sure you like cilantro first 😊

1 oz fresh cilantro (stems and all)

½ cup lime juice (fresh or bottled no need to be bougie)

½ TBSP fresh minced garlic

¼ cup white vinegar

2 TSP Cumin

1 TSP Salt of choice (I like salt of the border, applewood smoked, but plain Jane is fine too)

¾ cup olive oil

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor.

Blend until it’s combined and a smooth liquid.
