When I created this blend, I really should have just called it Lemon Pepper as that’s what seasoning like this would typically be known as. However, if you don’t know, I have a hard time doing what I “should” do! I also couldn’t just put lemon in it! In traditional extra Rachel fashion, I thought it needed more. So, I added orange AND garlic AND onion! The orange and the lemon come together to create one very zesty profile! However, the savory hints balance the citrus spark, making it pleasant yet pungent.
If you’ve been craving something different and something fresh, look no further. This is excellent added to marinades as well. Liquid will rehydrate the zest, truly bringing the citrus to life. If you’re a fan of citrus, our Smoky Citrus Salt is also a must have. However, this blend is salt free!
